Manifolds

ALA Perfusion Manifolds: QMM, MLF, MMF

ALA perfusion manifolds are used to deliver drugs or solutions to the cell or tissue. Three manifold types are available which differ in size.

MICRO manifolds QMM are fine tipped (standard 100 µm) and are used in experiments where small (µl to nl) volumes have to be applied.

MILLI manifolds MLF are less fine tipped (500 µm) and are used in experiments where volumes in the ml range have to be applied.

MINI manifolds MMF are are used for bath perfusion to combine 4 or 8 tubes of 1/16" ID to form a single output.

 

QMM

QMM - Micromanifold

ALA micromanifolds utilizes a unique technology incoporatimg quartz microcapillaries coated with polyimide to make them flexible and damage resistant.

The QMM has a dead volume of <100 nl, is completely inert, durable, easy to clean, and can be mounted directly in any micromanipulator.

Standard outlet tip size is 100 µm. Custom variations of size and number of tubes are available.

MLF

MLF- Millimanifold

ALA millimanifolds utilizes the same unique technology as the QMM manifolds with a more flexible material and a larger volume.

The MLF has a dead volume of 50 or 100 µl (depending on the amount of tubes), is completely inert, durable, easy to clean, and can be mounted directly in any micromanipulator.

Standard outlet tip size is 500 µm. Custom variations of size and number of tubes are available.

MMF

MMF - Minimanifold

ALA bath perfusion minimanifolds are used to combine four or eight tubes of 1/16" ID to form a single output with minimal mixing volume.
